Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Little by Little at Home, operated by Yasemin Çidem, handles information when a parent or caregiver uses the app.

Information we collect

• Account information: the identifier supplied through Sign in with Apple and, when Apple provides it, an email address.
• Family setup: a child's age range, selected learning language, language level, the caregiver's language comfort level, and approximate wake and bedtime. We do not ask for the child's name or birthday.
• Subscription information: subscription entitlement and transaction-verification information supplied by Apple. We do not receive payment-card details.
• Mentor booking information: a selected appointment and its associated call details.
• Support communications: information you choose to include when emailing support.

Information kept on your device

The app stores sign-in credentials in the Apple Keychain. Onboarding drafts, routine selection, and routine progress may be stored in the app's local preferences. This information can remain on the device until it is cleared by the app or the app is removed.

How we use information

We use information only to provide the app: authenticate accounts, personalize age-appropriate language activities, remember family settings, verify subscriptions, provide mentor booking, respond to support, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or track users across other companies' apps or websites. We use service providers only to operate the app:

• Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions, and transaction verification.
• Render: application hosting and database infrastructure.
• Google Meet: mentor-call links, when a family chooses to join a scheduled call. Google's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Children's privacy

The app is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children to create accounts independently. We store only a child's age range and learning settings needed to provide activities. We do not request a child's name, birthday, email address, precise location, photograph, or direct contact information.

Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while the account is active. You can permanently delete the account and its family data from Settings in the app. Limited information may remain temporarily in protected service backups or where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections, Apple authentication, device Keychain storage, and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may update family settings in the app, manage subscriptions through Apple, or delete your account in Settings. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact us using the address below.

International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their infrastructure and legal obligations may differ from those in your location.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
